BioWelcome to the blog of Rhode Island artist Melanie Ducharme...
I work mostly as a painter, yet I did go to school for graphic design/letterform. My art work has been described as an exploration into the female psyche by director, Nilsa Garcia-Rey, of Gallery X, in New Bedford, MA. I am an artist member of Gallery X where I frequently exhibit my work in group shows, occasionally help curate a show, hang a show, gallery sit, and/or write some press along with the other members.
I am usually working on something and many times more than one thing.Somehow, I have a social life in spite of this...
